Lilium was founded on April 6th 2006, inspired by the concept of English Gastro-Pubs in London, some of which were awarded 2 stars in the Michelin Guide. Orlando Ortega, the Manager with a wide experience in restaurants, convinced his partners how an adapted version of the Gastro-Pub could be viable in Lanzarote. The notion was to combine a high level or service with excellent local produce and quality wines by the glass. (There are 12 different wines every week and special daily menus). They created a timeless ambience, with low lighting and listenable yet unobtrusive music. It’s a place that exceeds its expectations
